Bimal Kumar Mishra is a full Professor of Mathematics and is presently Principal at Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand, India. He obtained his Master degree in Mathematics and Operational Research too. After being awarded Ph.D. in 1997, he earned the highest academic degree D. Sc. in 2007. He served as a faculty member at BITS, Pilani and was Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at BIT, Mesra, Ranchi. His research area is in the domain of Nonlinear Analysis, very specifically, Mathematical modelling in cyber attacks & defence, and infectious diseases. He has published more than 130 research papers in journals of repute and edited several books. He is also a member of the editorial board of several research journals and member of academic societies. He has produced 25 Ph.D.’s and also has three patents in his name.
